Welcome to membership to the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association, we are also the state affiliate of the Nation Rifle Association. (NRA)

NMSSA is considered the premier firearms association in New Mexico! You have joined thousands of members from across the state include individuals from all walks of life who have a common goal in protecting the rights of the law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. Regardless of whether you own a firearm or not, if you believe in supporting the U.S. Constitution and the Constitution of New Mexico in supporting the rights of legal, law-abiding citizens, then the NMSSA is for you. Since 1935, NMSSA has served New Mexico by:

• Protecting the lawful possession and use of firearms
• Providing gun safety training
• Supporting the shooting sports, hunter education and wildlife conservation efforts.

NMSSA works diligently on your behalf, providing you with a strong voice in the State of New Mexico regarding your rights with firearms and their use. As an NMSSA member, you are helping yourself and other New Mexicans enjoy the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
